AP_Slashy Rock Quad Cortex Preset

Get Slash's iconic sound with the Quad Cortex!

A custom preset that reproduces the legendary sounds of the Guns N' Roses guitarist.

From the enveloping melodies of Sweet Child O' Mine to the scratchy riffs of Paradise City , you'll hear how your Quad Cortex can get close to Slash's unique style.

The preset includes 8 different scenes : 90s clean, crunch and distorted sounds from bank A to D , and more modern clean, crunch and lead sounds from bank E to H.

All banks can also be used in stomp mode , to activate/deactivate individual effects.

Expression 2 is dedicated to the Wah .

If you don't have an expression pedal, use the “No Expression” version of the preset.

There are several EQ blocks :

• The first one, before the amplifier , acts as a frequency boost.

• The second one serves to shape the overall sound .

• The compressor after the cabinet improves the clarity of the frequencies: especially recommended for recording sessions.

You will receive 2 versions of the preset :
one with the expression pedal active
one without expression pedal
